From Picasso's Guernica to Marvin Gaye's Mercy Mercy Me (The Ecology) to Faith Ringgold's The American Collection, creativity in images, sound, or words touches us and we feel, sometimes viscerally, sometimes gently. We are compelled to see the things we've ignored, injustice, beauty, or a vision of the way things could be.
Whidbey Climate Fund 2025 Grants

In our second year, our neighbors have again given generously. Donations are an investment in our community supporting local groups working on local projects. We are proud to award five grants totaling $25,000. All projects satisfy our goals of impact, interconnection, and local to our Island community.
Keep Rural Areas Rural

We know that growth is not currently occurring in South Whidbey's NMUGA of Freeland. I would strongly recommend that we plan for and promote urban growth there, rather than growing the rural areas by adopting a solution such as increasing that limit of 35 detached ADU's.

When we invited proposals for Whidbey Climate Fund grants, we weren’t sure whether we’d get any response. To our delight, we have received NINE great proposals to restore community resilience and reduce climate pollution, right here on Whidbey
